TOYOTA Supra MKIV TARGA USDM
 

Hello Friends,

I am really happy to see that the place like this one exist. So many people, so many cars in one place. Thats why finally I decided to register myself and present my project.

A few words about me. I am from Poland / Kattowiz. I am very happy owner of Toyota Supra Targa MKIV USDM version. I bought the car in Italy so no rust and other simillar isues.

For that moment this is NA with Automatic gearbox but not so long :-)

Here are a few pictures how the car looked just after delivery to my house:

As you see the car needs attention. But as we know LHD Supras are rare so this problems are not so big to resolve.

As a 1th steep I decided to correct car around a little before the painting.

Done:
- front fender
- front bumper
- head lamps refreshed (painted in gun metal inside)

And a few photos:





Next I concentrated on dushboard. Was in a really bad condition. All parts were painted in black piano. To pu more live in to interior aluminium bezels were installed.

And 2 very nice parts from Santa claus :-)






I couldn't wait with the installation thats why they are already on the correct place :-)

Now I am finishing 2 projects and a few are in plans.
1. new leather interior
2. manual conversion with A01B and W58 on board.

You got a seldom combination on your hands.
Targa, LHD and Non Turbo are pretty rare in Europe - I am not sure, if there was any car regularly sold in this combination or if all of them are US imports.
I think the JZA80 freaks could help me out with that.

Any future plans on doing engine mods?
NA-T conversion or something like that?

PS: your brake fluid could need a change, just to mention :)

I am planing to put GTE with HKS staff all around. But that is the future plan. Maybe 2015 Summer time.

Brake fluid already replaced. You know how Italians service the cars :)

hello over here & nice car! And good to see it seemed to have an apropriate new owner :) Would be nice to see the future developement, the MkIII buildups are recessing since they become really old now.
Would you mind telling age and mileage?

Interesting to see that the MkIV is beginning to have the same problems as the III with the arm rest, steering wheel, shifter etc.

The car is 1993 and has done 141.000 miles. For a now and until Spring. This is only a toy for boy so winter time like bear - is sleeping :)

The steering wheel is replaced right now. I used IS200 with cruise control and SRS from RAV4. What is funny? 3 different cars but all parts working together without any problems.

Leather is a black one with blue stitching. Some parts of the wheel steering is perforated.

- suspension
- brakes
- exhaust
